Terms & conditions
1. General
1.1 These terms and conditions apply to all services provided by Australian Domestic Cleaning ("the Company"). By booking our services, the client ("the Client") agrees to these terms and conditions.
1.2 The Company reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Updates will be posted on our website and communicated to clients where applicable.
2. Services Provided
2.1 The Company offers domestic cleaning services with a minimum booking duration of 2 hours per appointment.
2.2 The hourly rate for services is $55 per hour, inclusive of GST
3. Bookings and Quotes
3.1 Bookings can be made via phone, email, or our online booking system. Confirmation of booking is subject to availability.
3.2 The Company requires a minimum booking of 2 hours per appointment. Bookings for less than 2 hours will not be accepted.
3.3 The Company will match any written quote provided by a competing cleaning service, subject to the following conditions: The quote must be current and presented in writing. The quote must clearly outline the services and pricing offered. The competing service must operate within the same service area as the Company.
4. Payments
4.1 Payment is due upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
4.2 Payments can be made via cash, bank transfer, or credit/debit card. Any bank fees or processing charges are the responsibility of the Client.
4.3 A late payment fee of 25% may be applied for payments not received within 7 days days of service completion.
4.4 If there are any issues with the clean you have 24 hours to inform Australian Domestic Cleaning so they can rectify those issues to be fixed at your next convenience. If this in not brought to our attention within 24 hours you are liable for the full invoice amount.
5. Cancellations and Rescheduling
5.1 The Client must provide at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Failure to do so may result in a cancellation fee equivalent to 100% of the scheduled service cost.
5.2 The Company reserves the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to unforeseen circumstances, such as staff unavailability or extreme weather conditions. In such cases, the Client will be notified as soon as possible.
6. Access and Safety
6.1 The Client must ensure access to the property at the scheduled time of service. Failure to provide access may result in a cancellation fee as outlined in clause 5.1.
6.2 The Client must ensure that the working environment is safe and free from hazards. The Company reserves the right to decline services if the environment is deemed unsafe.
7. Liability
7.1 While the Company takes all reasonable care in providing services, it is not liable for any damage to property unless caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct by its employees. 7.2 The Client must notify the Company of any damages or issues within 24 hours of the service. 8. Client Responsibilities
8.1 The Client must provide accurate information regarding the property and specific cleaning requirements at the time of booking.
8.2 The Client must secure valuables and fragile items before the service.
9. Complaints and Disputes
9.1 Any complaints must be reported to the Company within 24 hours of the service. The Company will make reasonable efforts to resolve the issue promptly.
9.2 If a resolution cannot be reached the final decision will rest with the company.
10. Governing Law
10.1 These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Queensland, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in that location.
